Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy (TRRCP) was started in 2006 as a foundation solely dedicated to Pharmacy Education by Teegala Ram Reddy Education Society (Reg. No.350/2004), a non-profit organization registered under the Registration of Societies Act with the Registrar of Societies, Hyderabad. The College has been vigilantly launched & nurtured by its founders & visionaries Shri. Teegala Nitesh Reddy glorified the field of education. He established Pharmacy College in the year 2006 to propel his unfeigned yearning to Establish a deemed university shortly. Presently the College is offering B.Pharmacy & M.Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Pharmaceutical Chemistry). The Machine room is provided with a 24h stabilized electric power supply system. Laboratory 

Pharmacology Lab 

Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy Pharmacology is the study of drug action. More specifically, it is the study of the interactions that occur between a living organism and exogenous chemicals that alter normal biochemical function. If substances have medicinal properties, they are considered pharmaceuticals. The field encompasses drug composition and properties, interactions, toxicology, therapy, medical applications, and antipathogenic capabilities. 

Pharmaceutics Lab :

Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy Pharmaceutics is the discipline of pharmacy that deals with all facets of the process of turning a new chemical entity (NCE) into a medication able to be safely and effectively used by patients in the community. Pharmaceutics is the science of dosage form design. There are many chemicals with known pharmacological properties but a raw chemical is of no use to a patient. Pharmaceutics deals with the formulation of a pure drug substance into a dosage form.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab:

Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Medicinal  is a discipline at the intersection of chemistry and pharmacology involved with designing, synthesizing, and developing pharmaceutical drugs. Medicinal chemistry involves the identification, synthesis, and development of new chemical entities suitable for therapeutic use. It also includes the study of existing drugs, their biological properties, and their quantitative structure-activity relationships (QSAR). Pharmaceutical chemistry is focused on the quality aspects of medicines and aims to assure fitness for the purpose of medicinal products.

Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab :

Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy lab is equipped with glassware for pharmaceutical Analysis like burette, Pipette, Volumetric flasks, measuring cylinders, etc. The lab is associated with a balance room harboring 20 highly sensitive chemical balances for the preparation of volumetric reagents. This laboratory helps students familiarize themselves with modern methods of analysis and good laboratory practices (GLPS). To elaborate pharmaceutical methods are used for the analysis and quality control of pharmacopeial methods is used for the analysis and quality control of drugs and pharmaceuticals are carried out in this lab. This laboratory helps students familiarize themselves with the modern methods of analysis, good laboratory practices, (GLP), and process quality control.

Central Instrumentation Lab 

Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy lab is utilized for the instrumental methods of analysis of medicinal compounds and biological samples. The lab is equipped with the latest state of art analytical instruments, this laboratory assists the students to acquire hands-on training on these instruments undertake practical training in pharmaceutical and analytical chemistry, and assist in research work. The central instrument facility is a state of art laboratory boasting. Its highly sophisticated instruments via HPLC with ultra high flow and elution systems, flame photometer, Fourier Transform-IR-Spectrophotometer, Double beam UV-visible spectrophotometer, Abbe’s refractometer, Electrophoresis, HPLC, Digital colorimeter, Nephlo -Turbidimeter, polarimeter, PH, Meter, Conductivity meter, potentiometer, IR moisture balance, sonicator, digital balance, and electronic single pan- balance.

Placements

Teegala Ram Reddy College of Pharmacy Campus Interview for B.Pharmacy students conducted on 07/06/2011. Recruitments are being done for Indian Immunologicals Limited. The second round of interviews was held on 09/06/2011 and results will be announced after evaluation of the second round. Admission

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

For admission into B. Pharm, one has to pass the written exam (EAMCET for 1 year Admission / ECET for Direct Admission into 2nd year). Students are given a ranking based on the marks obtained in the entrance text.

Admission is conducted in a systematic manner by means of counseling based on the rank by convener EAMCET. Thus opportunity is given to the students to choose the course and the college.

70% of seats are filled through the EAMCET rank.

30% of seats are filled through the management based on merit at the Intermediate Level.

Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm)

For admission into M. Pharm, one has to pass the written exam (G-PAT/PGECET ) Students are given a ranking based on the marks obtained in the entrance text. Admission is conducted in a systematic manner by means of counseling based on the rank by convener GPAT. The leftover seats are to be filled by PGECET. Thus opportunity is given to the students to choose the course and the college.70% of seats are filled through the G-PAT/PGECET rank.

30% of seats are filled through the management based on merit at the Intermediate Level.
