Library

TITE library was established in 2007. The Central Library, TITE occupies a place of pride and helps as an integral component of the institute’s outstanding research and educational activities. It is considered a part and parcel of the academic setup. It has a rich collection of printed as well as electronic resources which includes textbooks, reference books, journals, databases, CDs, etc. It has also been catering to the needs of undergraduate students, faculty, and staff members of the institute. The library is enabled with Wi-Fi connectivity. It has an E-library facility for the users. It has a separate reading room for the users with the latest collection of reference books and journals. It offers reference services, current awareness services, and photocopying services to its users.

Games and Sports

The major goal of physical education is to offer a wide range of physical activities for the benefit and enjoyment of the students. Anything that has guidance from the experts surely leads to success. We want our students to gain something worthwhile in their leisure time too, then let it be Sports. We have connoisseurs to boost our students by directing them in the chosen activities. This leaves our students with an optimum condition of physical fitness in terms of strength, agility endurance, and tension relaxation. This practice has to be regular, so we have arranged for regular intramural sports and competitions. Both girls and guys are eligible to participate in these sports and competitions. The various games played at this level are Athletic, badminton, basketball, football, table tennis, chess, volleyball, cricket, handball, etc. The winners are given usually prizes on the TITAD every year. A yoga training cell with exclusive facilities has been set up on the campus.

Hostel

The College provides in-campus comfortable and well-hygienic hostel accommodation separately for boys and girls. It can accommodate more than 1000 students with spacious well-ventilated rooms and individual cots with cupboards. It also provides round-the-clock security and vigil for the safety of the inmates. For sick children, there is provision for a special diet, treatment in a nearby district headquarters hospital, and the presence of a well-trained pharmacist around the clock. The hostel is segregated into a number of rooms. The caretaker (boys & Girls) who lives in the hostels are taking care of the students for their overall well beings. They are assisted by House Matrons as well as by Supervisors who are in charge of health, hygiene, housekeeping, diet, and so on to ensure discipline and punctuality. The hostel environment is further enriched with personalized care and counsel and topped with friendly warmth and cooperation among peers, supplying of all sports and games for the round development of the pupils makes the hostel truly a home away from home.
