Tezpur College, one of the premier colleges of Assam, came into existence in the year 1965 due to the untiring efforts of Late Dulal Chandra Bhattacharjee, a doyen of the teaching and legal community of Assam. Chandra Mohan Medhi Library, Tezpur College

Chandra Mohan Medhi Library is a well-equipped library with a computer network through SOUL software and internet with Wi-Fi services. The college library was named the Chandra Mohan Medhi Library in 2005 in honor of the late Chandra Mohan Medhi, who was the former principal of the college and one of the founding members. In addition to e-books and e-magazines, the library has more than 36,000 books in various languages.

Hostels

These are two hostels for female students of Tezpur College on the college premises. Currently, there are a total of 60 student residences in the hostels. Modern amenities like 24-hour running water, television, indoor and outdoor play facilities, newspapers, power backup, etc. are available for government officials.
