Thakur Polytechnic Admission
To streamline the admission process, the institute actively participates in the Central Admission Process (CAP). For Institute level and Vacant seats of the CAP round, candidates must submit their application forms, duly filled and accompanied by necessary documents, to the institute’s office within the specified schedule issued by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The schedule will be prominently displayed on the institute’s notice board for reference. Selection for admission is solely based on the merit of eligible candidates from the respective State Board areas, determined by the best of 5 marks obtained in the S.S.C. (Std. X) examination. The merit list will be publicly displayed on the institute’s Notice Board. Subsequently, candidates are invited for an interview, during which they are required to present their original certificates for verification.

Thakur Polytechnic Scholarship
Thakur Polytechnic in Mumbai offers scholarships to outstanding students throughout each year of their diploma courses. In the academic year 2018-19, the top five students were awarded scholarships at Thakur Polytechnic.
