Thamirabharani Engineering College, Tirunelveli Tamil Nadu was established in the year 2011 as Private Educational Institute to provide higher education to build a career in the field of Engineering. Library:

TEC library supports the institute’s program of study and research. Institute Archives offer access to a wide range of materials, both printed and electronic. The collection includes. The library seeks to create and manage an environment that supports learning and research and fosters a sense of community at TEC. The spacious reading area lends a calm and comfortable atmosphere for students and faculty members to pursue excellence in academic activity. It goes without saying that the library is equipped with all modern facilities at par with international standards. In pursuit of these goals, the library expects users to follow the rules.

INTERNET:

Computer Centre is a central facility supporting the computing needs of students and staff of various disciplines in the institute. It maintains the campus LAN services with a dedicated Data Base server and internet server. The access speed enables the Students and Staff to download and upload files at a fast rate. Online Placement activities and exams for all the students are conducted.

All the departments’ faculty and administrative officers are connected to the LAN.

Mess Facilities:

The Mess in TEC is equipped with excellent furniture, ceiling fans, and purified potable water. Messes are provided with good cooking facilities and fueled the gas. Students are being served high-quality and neat vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Separate Mess for each boy and girl. 

Hostel Facilities:

There are 64 rooms available. Each room in a hostel is highly ventilated and has adequate ceiling fans. Each room is being provided with a wooden cot, a steel table, a chair, and a steel bureau for each student ( Maximum of 3 students per room ).A badminton court is placed in the corridor of the hostel. Various games like chess and carom board is provided.

Green Campus:

Admission

Tamil Nadu candidates who have passed VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply, A pass in the HSC (Academic) or its equivalent with a minimum average percentage in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.50%; BC (including Backward Class Muslim): 45%; MBC & DNC: 40%; SC/SCA/ST: 40%.

Placement

Various placement training programs such as solving Aptitude questions, Group Discussion skills, Interview Techniques, Resume preparation, etc., are arranged for all final-year students to equip well to participate in campus recruitment interviews. The Training and Placement Centre makes every effort to network with all segments of industries ranging from Manufacturing to Software. Fruitful relationships with industries are being nourished with utmost care for mutual benefit.
