Having witnessed the era of manual animation as well as the digital world today, it is rightly said that animation has paved its way out differently than other traditional courses and is much in demand due to its vast scope. That’s where COABARC comes into the picture with an objective to impart quality and complete education to the students after the 10th and 12th. Unfortunately, hindrance is experienced in creating true animators for India due to a claim of becoming a so-called animator within a span of 6-12 months. This just increases the headcount of quasi-creative work. The fact to contemplate is that courses like engineering, medicine, and architecture require a minimum of 4 years then how can a vast field of animation be mastered in just 6 months? Think about it.

Such courses can work for professionals but not for students stepping into this field. As the saying goes ‘half knowledge is highly dangerous’ and we at COABARC completely abide by it. Hence, a 3-year course was designed and implemented in our teachings to produce true animators. We through our teachings provide every detail to our students to be updated about the market. This is our small step towards building a powerhouse of animators. We believe in Art to Animation. This journey has many branches such as 2D,3D, stop motion, etc. institutes claiming to teach students these all at once in a short period of time is a false myth and we all need to be aware of it. Animation is a stepwise process that needs to be carried out in a sequence to get through the results successfully. The course is designed keeping in mind the practicality of work rather than the only theory with our national and international award-winning faculty ensuring to provide solutions to our students in a challenging environment and training them to become the best. We also have a 100% placement record with our students being placed in well-known studios like Big Animation, Pixion, Crest Animation, Data Quest, Prime Focus, UTV, etc. Our students have been part of famous animated movies like Little Krishna, The Dream Blanket, Roadside Romeo, Arjuna, Mahayodha Rama, etc.

Facilities and Infrastructure

College libraries play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning. The library aims at providing access to its printed resources such as books, magazines, bibles, and journals primarily for the use of faculty and students at COABARC.

It is a drama and film-display theatre. The expert drama and action artists teach acting in this huge hall with high-quality lighting and sound technology. The facilities like Green Screen for Chroma- Shoots, Exclusive props, and other machinery are provided here.

The graduates from our college are provided with Industrial Training for 2D & 3D Film- making under the direction of professional experts. High-Tech computer systems, High- Speed internet servers and a Rendering Firm has been set up for the students.

The lessons on the creation and modeling of clay and prop characters for Stop-Motion (In Films and Dramas) in a scientific way are given here. Other than this, Mural Making and Kinetic Sculpturing are also creative practicals carried out here.

Sports is an interesting activity that uplifts the student’s mindset and keeps the child active in this competitive age. Participating in sports regularly gives strength, improves self-confidence, makes the student's mind sharp, and builds the student's physical and mental health. It also develops social skills and makes students punctual and disciplined in life.

From the very beginning of the College, the College Canteen has been functioning efficiently. The canteen is located inside the College. As many students come from distant places, it is essential for the students to have nutritious food and refreshments. The college canteen plays an important role in this regard by catering to the daily nutritional requirements of students and staff members.
