The Techno School was established in the year 2005 with four Engineering disciplines (ECE, EEE, CSE, EE, ME and CIVIL) at the degree level. Subsequently, Civil Engg, Mechanical Engg, Electrical Engg in Diploma, ME, EEE, ECE, CSE in M.tech, MBA and MCA have been added. The objective was to produce quality technical manpower needed to serve the humanities at large. The Institute is affiliated with BPUT, Rourkela, Odisha. At present, the student strength of our college may be around 1200. The Institute is very well located almost at the heart of Bhubaneswar city. The Institute has appointed qualified persons as its faculty. The teaching-learning process in the institute is very good and the students are very disciplined. The college has got all infrastructure as per AICTE requirements including a well-stacked library, Internet lab, Wi-Fi environment, Central computing lab etc. The teaching ?and learning environment is very good . The teachers take interest in teaching the students and the students thoroughly participate in the learning process. The students and staff fully utilize the library, Internet and Laboratory facilities. In addition to this teachers are advised to take special classes and care for weaker students. The students are from different states like Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand & Chhattisgarh etc, and selected through OJEE, AIEEE, CET, CAT & MAT. Their performance in the University Examination is fairly good. Facilities and Infrastructure at the Techno School

The classrooms adhere to modern standards and are well-furnished. They also have high-tech facilities like projectors and audio-visual equipment for supplemental and comprehensive learning.

Transportation focuses on accessibility rather than mobility and Techno Group provides a wide range of transportation facilities. We covered all the routes through our bus system. The college is situated near NH5 and students get much more facilities from the college These buses bring the students and staff to the campus in the morning before the commencement of the classwork and return after the completion of the classwork.

The facilities include 350 Intel Core-i computers, running on operating systems, namely Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Solarish8, Sco Unix and Linux and housed in six large air-conditioned laboratories. Through LAN, Linux and Windows NT servers connect all the computers. Internet connectivity through a 6 MBPS leased line under the aegis of Reliance Communication India Ltd. The students and faculty members obtain materials for study and information. The latest versions of Oracle 11g, MS Office, Visual Studio 2010, Turbo C++ and Java are available for use. Much more software in the pipeline.

The workshop is well equipped with machines and tools to cater to the academic requirement of doing jobs. Through such practice, the student acquires practical skills and shop floor experience. This kind of experience encourages the students to soil their hands when needed. Practical verification of theories and concepts leads to better understanding and design. Hence the practical component of the academic program is of vital importance.
