Infrastructure and Facilities

The NUJS has a sprawling campus that is well-maintained and provides a serene environment for learning. The buildings are modern and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, NUJS making it easier for students to learn and faculty to teach. The classrooms of NUJS, lecture halls, and labs are spacious, comfortable, and designed to provide an excellent learning experience. The library is also outstanding, with a vast collection of books, online resources, and knowledgeable librarians.

Library

The NUJS college has a big regulation library. It additionally has a social technological know-how section. Journals including the Harvard and Cambridge Law Reviews, the regulation evaluations of the respective National Law Universities of India, such as the NLSIU, GNLU, and NALSAR, the journals of the Indian Law Institute and the Bar Council of India and social science journals such as the Social Scientist, Indian Economic, and Social History Review, and the Studies in History are also kept in the library.

NUJS also holds institutional memberships with leading libraries in the cities such as the British Council Library and the American Information Resource Center. Besides this, regulation college students from different universities are recommended to apply to the library for studies and study.

The NUJS library houses over 20,000 titles and, owing largely to a donation from the property of the overdue Justice Durga Das Basu, includes many uncommon books of ancient importance. The reading room has computers linked to major Indian and international online legal databases. In addition to the principal library, every college of college has its own library.

Hostel Facilities

NUJS's most important campus is placed on a 5-acre (20,000 m2) plot in Salt Lake City, overseeing the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass. The National Institute of Fashion Technology and the College of Leather Technology border the Campus. NUJS's Rajarhat Campus is yet to be built. No significant construction has been undertaken and the land lies vacant.

Sports Facilities

The NUJS hosts some inter-university events. The Sports Committee of NUJS organizes one of the maximum famous inter-regulation university activities inside the country, referred to as Invicta. Law colleges from across the country participate in this three-day sports festival, held in January every year. The activities forming a part of the meet are football, cricket, garden tennis, athletics, desk tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, chess, carrom, cycling, and throwball. The activities are held at venues across the campus, along with the Sports Authority of India Complex, Bengal Tennis Association Complex, and Salt Lake Stadium (athletics), in addition to the campus itself.

Cafeteria

The university has a canteen which is run by Little Sisters, a catering service that also serves the Indian Railway Traffic Service.
