Infrastructure and Facilities

The NUJS has a sprawling campus that is well-maintained and provides a serene environment for learning. The buildings are modern and equipped with state-of-the-art technology, NUJS making it easier for students to learn and faculty to teach. The classrooms of NUJS, lecture halls, and labs are spacious, comfortable, and designed to provide an excellent learning experience. The library is also outstanding, with a vast collection of books, online resources, and knowledgeable librarians.

Library

The college has a big regulation library. It additionally has a social technological know-how section. Journals including the Harvard and Cambridge Law Reviews, the regulation evaluations of the respective National Law Universities of India, such because the NLSIU, GNLU, and NALSAR, the journals of the Indian Law Institute and the Bar Council of India and social science journals such as the Social Scientist, Indian Economic, and Social History Review, and the Studies in History are also kept in the library.

Hostel Facilities

NUJS's most important campus is placed on a 5-acre (20,000 m2) plot in Salt Lake City, overseeing the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass. The National Institute of Fashion Technology and the College of Leather Technology border the Campus. NUJS's Rajarhat Campus is yet to be built. No significant construction has been undertaken and the land lies vacant.

Sports Facilities

The NUJS hosts some inter-university events. The Sports Committee of NUJS organizes one of the maximum famous inter-regulation university activities withinside the country, referred to as Invicta. Law colleges from across the country participate in this three-day sports festival, held in January every year. The faculty has included a former governor of Mizoram and CBI director, Dr. A.P. Mukherjee, who taught criminal law, a former judge of the Supreme Court of India Justice Ruma Pal, who was the Ford Foundation Professor of Human Rights, Shamnad Basheer, who held the MHRD IPR Chair and who is well known in the field of intellectual property, a Rhodes scholar, a Commonwealth Scholar, five Fulbright awardees (two visiting professors, one visiting lecturer and two doctoral students), a Felix Scholar and three Chevening Scholars.

Alumni

The Alumni Cell is a student-run wing of the Student Juridical Association that facilitates meaningful engagement between the Alumni and the student body. It organizes talks, and panel discussions and also facilitates alumni involvement in effective policy-making at the University. It facilitates the Alumni Association in its executive programs like the National Vaccination Drive among other things. The body serves as the conduit for easy participation of the alumni in the functioning of their Alma Mater.
