The Thejus Engineering College, a project of the Cheruvathur Foundation, was established in 2009. The university pursues a holistic educational approach. The school is located in Vellarakkad on the Kunnamkulam-Wadakkanchery side of the highway in the Thrissur district. The college campus is located on a 10.5-hectare property with state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, state-of-the-art computing facilities, etc.

Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided in a warm atmosphere. The application for admission to the refuge must be submitted on the form provided for this purpose. An attentive caretaker, resident tutors, and security guards ensure students have a comfortable stay so they can focus on their studies. 

Transportation: 

A fleet of buses operates in remote areas of the Malappuram, Palakkad, and Thrissur districts. Current destinations are Pazhayannur, Valakkavu, Peechi, Kanjany, Nattika, Peringottukara, Kuttipuram, Marencherry, Irinjalakuda, Chalakkudy, Ottapalam, Kodungalloor, Thrissur East Fort, Pangu, Thrissur North Bus Station, Avanangad, Puthur, Chamaravattam, Pattambi, Varantharapally, Kodannur.  Love them etc and will finish more buses to new destinations considering requirements. Students who wish to use the university bus regularly must collect the bus tickets against payment of the required fee.

Cafeteria:

Within the campus, there is a large and well-equipped canteen. Lunch and other drinks are available at a reasonable price every working day.

Digital Language Lab: 

Orell Digital Language Lab: - The Orell Digital Language Lab with all its features helps the student to update their knowledge, skills, and communicative attitudes.  A teacher/linguist can design and create new and interesting material for a computer science course with a communicative approach. Students can work through the course material at their own pace. Listening skills are an essential part of speaking the language fluently. The Digital Language Lab helps students develop good listening skills that support the communication process. Students hear the correct pronunciation pattern from their computers through headphones, rather than mimicking other students' mispronunciations and slang.
