Thiagarajar Polytechnic College is the country's First Aid Polytechnic specially sanctioned by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. It started late.  dr AlagappaChettiar, a great educator and philanthropist, in 1956 with 30 civil engineering students. From the following year, students were also admitted to the faculties of mechanics and electricity.dr Alagappa Chettiar died in 1957. After the death of Dr. Alagappa Chettiar, the institute was taken over in 1961 by K. Thiagarajan Chettiar, Madurai.MEK The director was Manon. In 1980-81 the council was transferred to the Diocesan Community Development Society of Trichur, Thrissur, under the auspices of the Archbishop of Thrissur. Prof. Joseph Kakkassery became Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Shri. An operations manager is Francis C. Joseph. The Institute operates under the approval of the Kerala State Council for Technical Education and the All India Council for Technical Education in Delhi. There are currently 60 students enrolled in each of the departments of construction, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering, and the number of employees is 82.  NCC, NSS, continuing education units, etc. They work well. The facility maintains good performance statistics in the country. Our graduates work as engineers in globally accredited institutions in different parts of the world. Admission: 

Thaiagarajar Polytechnic offers three-year work-oriented degree programs in Civil, Mechanical,  and Electrical & Electronics Engineering approved by State Council for Technical Education, Thiruvananthapuram, and All India Council for Technical Education, Delhi.  students can be admitted to college studies in one of two courses; Regular pattern and side entry pattern. The approved intake for the regular program is 60% and for the parallel entry, the program is 10% of the approved intake. In addition, 5% of the approved admission is also awarded to financially disadvantaged applicants with regular admission. The quota management application is available in the download link.
