TMG College of Arts and Science, a unit of the MIET Group of Institutes, is situated in a picturesque locale near Tambaram. TMGCAS was established as a constituent of Vinayaka Trust which is committed to the cause of establishing institutions that provide academic excellence and a higher protocol of human values. Scholarships

A Standing Committee for the welfare of SC/ST has been constituted in the College with the Principal as Chairman to look after the welfare of SC/ST students. A Special Cell for the welfare of students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has been set up. The cell has the responsibility of receiving, scrutinizing and processing applications from SC/ST students pursuing their course of study.
