Travancore Engineering College (TEC ), Roadvila, Oyoor, established in 2002, is a private self-financing college, under Travancore Educational Society in Kollam District. . which had been affiliated to the A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technological University(KTU), Trivandrum, Govt. of. Kerala, & Approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The History & Glorious past of TEC was Nearly two thousand students had been studying here in both U.G.&P.G.cources.Around 60 numbers of Alumni of TEC are currently employed in higher designations in various departments of Government&Semi-Government Organizations. More than 1000 Alumni are employed in various private and government-aided organizations. Really, TEC was holding one of the top positions as a KING among Academic Institutions, from 2002-2016(14 years). The College is managed by the Travancore Education Society with a registered office at Kallambalam, Trivandrum, Kerala. College Campus is situated at 25.5 acres of beautiful hill area surrounded with heavy greenery, which supplies an abundance of Fresh Oxygen and a cool climate.

Alethea, the library is a computerized information system, which has all facilities for information storage and retrieval. It is an open-access library system. All the students, faculty, and non-teaching staff are members of this library. 

College Hostel:

The college provides a separate residential facility in each hostel for men and women students on the campus and can accommodate nearly 120 students. Students who desire to stay in the hostel have to print a cash deposit against mess and other charges.

Transportations:

For the conveyance of staff and students, the college operates a fleet of buses.

College Canteen:

A canteen is functioning inside the campus. Tea, coffee, snacks, lunch, etc. are available at moderate rates. An advisory committee consisting of staff members and student representatives monitors the canteen.

College Store:

The college store provides textbooks, drawing instruments, and stationery to the students. Textbooks are offered at a discount rate and other materials at a wholesale rate. The store is open throughout the college working hours and also provides a photocopying facility. A senior faculty member is in charge of the store.
