TCMT is a Rs. 16 Crore Project, spread over an area of 5 Acres with serene surroundings away from the bustle of the city. The Institute is Centrally Air-conditioned and has its own state-of-the-art infrastructure i.e. swimming/boat pool, playgrounds, workshop, computer lab, residential and recreational facilities, etc.
Trident College of Marine Technology is accredited by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. RINA has certified it with the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certificate (Certificate No. 36740/18/ANS). TCMT has been recognized as the most effective institute in Eastern India by the Board of Seamen Examiners (BES). 05-11-2009. The institute, whose purpose is to provide extensive and high-quality training to sailors, needs a large area away from the city noise, preferably near a body of water.

The TCMT library is an ocean of knowledge that has no boundaries. An extremely rich and rare collection of books, publications, videos, and CDs related to all aspects of maritime education help students to access and acquire unlimited knowledge. The online library keeps students informed and up-to-date with the latest developments in maritime.
P. T. Parade:Physical preparation and the morning parade are compulsory for all candidates for the Pre-Sea Course. They have very good drumming and drumming skills and become thoughtful and disciplined individuals with a strong will and constitution that help them overcome life's obstacles to achieve their goals.
Labs:The most important part of marine learning is the workshop. Here you can get practical information about the machines in the engine room and other technical work. The fully equipped workshop offers a wide range of technical expertise in marine equipment, carpentry, plumbing, machinery, ship's engine room maintenance, fireworks such as welding, cutting, fabrication, electrical work and other important marine aspects. The TCMT workshop provides the confidence and skills required of a true sailor.
Computer Laboratory:The college has a modern computer center with a Wi-Fi campus and an extensive LAN network with 10 MBps 1:1 bandwidth supported by a high-speed ISDN line. Licensed multi-user versions of the necessary software, as well as Internet and email services, are installed.
Class Room Sessions:We offer fully furnished classrooms equipped with all modern equipment to impart education and training in an amazing style developed by us which is efficient in every way.
Demonstration Room:The TCMT showroom has a wide range of modern nautical, navigation, and safety equipment from Sextants to safety harnesses, life vests to firefighting suits, radio beacons for smoke alarms, and gyrocompasses to aneroid barometers. The operation and use of this wide range of equipment in the demo room instills enormous confidence in the students and they are well acquainted with the items carried on ships.
It is well established that arranging the right arrangement in today's fierce competition is not an easy task. The cell continuously coordinates student internships with the shipping industry, organizations, and institutions and helps develop industry and academic relationships. TCMT is currently tied up with 3 shipping companies and conducts on-campus and overseas interviews with Indian / foreign shipping companies for successful candidates.
