Trikuta College of Education, a concern of Shri Sain Charitable Trust started its functioning in 2000 with an intake capacity of 125 students. The site of the college has been judiciously selected keeping in view the present nee of pollution free atmosphere. It is located in Bajwan Nardni, a village at a distance of 13 km from Jammu University and 9 km from Jammu Bus stand. Trikuta College of Education is the name inspired by the mighty Trikuta hills where the holy shrine of the world Mata Vaishno Devi is situated symbolizing the bacon light shining forever in the scholastic pursuits of the institution.

Anti Ragging Committee

The Trikuta College of Education constituted three members of the Anti-Ragging Committee on 1/9/2020 vide notification no. TCE/2020/41. The coordinator of the committee is Ms. Anisha Kumari (Lect. in English) along with Mohd. Ayoub and Yamini Jamwal as members (Students of Semester III).

Medical/Hospital

The Trikuta College of Education has a health center with a first aid facility for students. Sain Charitable Trust has a hospital of its own, namely: the Jammu Institute of Ayurveda and research, which is managed by the whole time trained staff, where adequate health advice and treatment, in case of illness, is provided to the students free of cost.

Admission

The Trikuta College of Education admission to the course for the Degree of Bachelor of Education shall extend over two years, having four semesters. This course is designed variously under theory lectures /Methodology lesions/School internship or fieldwork (different components)/Reflective journals.

Eligibility: 45% for General Category and 40% for SC/ST students.
