?Tritya Maritime Academy, also known as TMA Delhi, is a private institute that was established in 2010 in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. It is a part of the Tritya Educational Trust. The Institute is known for shaping the career of Merchant Navy aspirants. It is the only Merchant Navy Institute that focuses on an individual's needs and aspirations through a personalized schedule and prepares them to face new challenges that occurred in marine life.

Apart from the regular classes, the Institute also conducts classes for enhancing the basic knowledge of seafarers, including seamanship, ship construction, various duties, fire fighting & fire prevention, personal safety & social responsibilities, etc. It also conducts career seminars, counseling sessions, and audio-video presentations to enhance the skills of students.

Till now, it had helped over 3,500 students to shape their careers in leading shipping companies, such as V-Shipping, MOL, Fleet Management, K-Line Shipping, etc. The Institute has a modern infrastructure which includes facilities like modern classrooms, a library, and other facilities like spoken English classes, motivational movies, LCD presentations, etc. It also offers a facility of an education loan for economically weak students.

LABS:

The institute has well-established state-of-art laboratories and simulators for the students. The college boasts of a well-equipped Fire mock-up area, Workshop facilities, a Seamanship lab, Electronics and Electrical Engineering labs, Hydraulic and Pneumatics lab, Mechanical Engineering labs, Marine Workshop, and an Innovation center that provides an environment for hands-on experience for the students in the field.

Placement:

The college has a good placement record. Almost 85% of students get placed. The students become eligible for placement in the third year. There are no fixed packages and none of the sites has mentioned the salary packages. But students get an average package of 2 lakhs. The person who has given a backlogged exam would face difficulty in getting placed. Rest, there is no such percentage kind of eligibility for sitting in placement. If I get placed in the campus placement, then I will be joining a shipping company as a trainee engineer.
