In today's environment, industries have a variety of social duties, which creates a relationship between the institute and the industry. The Corporate Relations Centre (CRC) at the United Group of Institutions (UGI) has a primary vision to build mutual trust and mutually beneficial relationships between industry and institutes to bridge the existing gap between the two, ultimately making students employable, industry-ready, and placed on the one hand, and meeting industrial needs on the other.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) institution, United Group of Institutions has made good tie-ups with top companies and thus the placement process for 2022 seems quite good. The institute is aiming for 100% placement for the next batch with more and more companies coming into the institute. The placement cell is preparing the students for both online as well as offline interview processes.

Placement Process

Through individual counseling, group sessions, and exams, support students in developing/clarifying their academic and professional interests, as well as their short and long-term objectives.
Maintaining and updating the student database regularly. Maintaining a company database and forming strategic partnerships for college recruiting.
Obtaining information about upcoming employment fairs as well as other related job postings.
Working with organizations’ Human Resources departments to understand their requirements and hiring methods.
Identifying the requirements and expectations of businesses to aid them in finding the best individuals.
Organizing student pre-placement training/workshops/seminars.
To help students in obtaining industrial training, internships, and summer training opportunities following their curricula.
To give them materials and activities to aid in their career preparation.
To serve as a link between students, alumni, and the workforce.
