The impressive infrastructure of United offers students an ideal environment for them to pursue their passion for academics and provide outstanding academic service. The campus covers more than 200 ACRES consisting of lush green lawns high-tech laboratories and more than 300 air-conditioned classrooms. The five state-of-the-art conference rooms, auditoriums E classrooms, and large induction halls provide an outstanding facility on a regional scale. Alongside UGI, Hostels, Sports and Recreation Centers, Computing Infra and Library play an important role in assisting its mission, and in providing an excellent education to students.
The UIM spacious, comfortable, and bright e-classrooms are fitted with modern teaching tools like multimedia, LCD panels PA Systems, and OHPs. Information systems online are used by students to aid in sharing information, conceptualization, and gaining clarity of thought by using an interactive approach to teaching. Virtual classrooms are shared with professionals from the corporate world academics from networking institutions and students and faculty members of the United.
A UIM remarkable collection of internationally and nationally acknowledged books with over 65,000 volumes is stored at the library of the Allahabad campuses as well as at the Greater Noida campuses, although in the early years, the library there had more than 30,000 volumes. Students also have access to a Book Bank facility in which the same book for each subject can be borrowed for a full semester. This ensures constant access to books that students can peruse. Furthermore, the library of the college is a part of the INDEST network, DELNET (Developing Library Network) by which students have access to and can issue periodicals, books, articles as well as other publications from top universities of the country, including all IITs. The libraries are subscribed to more than 200 magazines and journals with international and national sources. The majority of the newspapers available are within access of students.
UIM Book Bank lends textbooks per semester for every subject. This helps to reduce the cost of students. The learning process is improved by the supply of books to all pupils.
As UIM technology advances, United has established a well-equipped Digital Library that has thousands of books that are stored in electronic format. Additionally, the digital Library provides online access to more than 400 International Journals (IEEE & IEE) accessible for students and faculty on any computer within the campus including Hostels.
The UIM institutes have a capacity of more than 1200 students. Separate hostels that accommodate boys and girls are available on both Allahabad and Greater Noida Campuses. The hostels are equipped with all amenities for the residents. The amenities include :
The best computing environment is present on both campuses. Both campuses have computers equipped with the latest technology equipment, hardware, internet, and software. The two institutes at Allahabad and Noida are connected to high-speed 24 hours a day connectivity to the internet via lease lines.
The infrastructure allows students to learn the most up-to-date software and applications. Computer labs run for 24 hours per day, which can be extended during peak times. Hostels also have been given 24-hour internet access.
To enhance the knowledge of students with practical experience, the college offers a variety of workshops. These workshops are outfitted with modern machines and equipment. The two colleges are equipped with Carpentry shops, a Foundry and forge shop, a Fitting shop, a Machine shop, a Sheet metal shop, a Smithy shop, and a Welding Shop.
The center for advanced machining houses precise lathes, honing machines milling, drilling shapers, slotters grinders, and more. Foundry and forge can be used to produce castings. The welding workshop is equipped with facilities for oxygen acetylene and electronic arch welding TIG welding and MIG Welding. A variety of cutting equipment, like gas cutting is offered in the Sheet Metal Workshop. Its Fitting, Pattern, Carpentry, and Smithy are the main feeders to the workshop.
Nearby industries such as Areva, Recron, and ITI Ltd. successfully utilize their calibration testing and manufacturing facilities of the workshops. Workshops are used extensively by students for creating working prototypes.
Modern and high-tech laboratories that are equipped with precise and calibrated equipment have been designed to give practical training to students. Each of the Laboratories has the latest and cutting-edge technology, which helps students understand the concepts by utilizing practical exercises. Students make mistakes and are taught how to correct the mistakes. Similar to the Workshops The Laboratories also provide extensive tests and measurement and support for product development to industries.
Additionally, the first-year students also have access to an extensive range of research and experimentation facilities within the state-of-the-art chemistry and physics labs. The labs are equipped with the most modern technology for the experiments that are required, helping the students to complete their research.
This is one of the areas of the campus that is never empty. It is a popular spot for students and the food court provides an array of food items that cater to students' preferences. An excellent level of hygiene is maintained to ensure satisfaction and satisfaction for students.
A huge sports facility is located on the campus. The courts are spacious and well-equipped. They were designed with in mind the advantages that students get from sports activities. Numerous courts for tennis, basketball, badminton, and volleyball courts meet the specific needs of each student.
