Mumbai University IDOL B.A, B.Sc & B.Com Admission

IDOL is currently accepting applications for a range of undergraduate programs in the Arts, Science, Commerce, and Management disciplines. Eligibility for admission to these programs is determined based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination.

Applicants must have fulfilled the basic eligibility criteria, which include completing the 10+2 education in the relevant discipline.

Mumbai University IDOL B.A, B.Sc & B.Com Admission Eligibility

Course Name	Eligibility
First Year B.A (F.Y.B.A)	Those students are eligible to apply who have passed 10+2 or a 3-year Diploma from a recognized board or University.
Second Year B.A (S. Y.B. A)	Those students are eligible to apply who have Passed ATKT in F.Y.B.A exam from a recognized University.
Third Year B.A (T. Y. B. A)	Those students are eligible to apply who have Passed the F.Y.B.A & S.Y.B.A exam or ATKT in either the First Year or Second year from a recognized University.
First Year B.Com (F.Y.B.Com)	Those students are eligible to apply who have passed 10+2 or a 3-year Diploma from a recognized board or University.
Second Year B.Com (S. Y.B. Com)	Those students are eligible to apply who have Passed ATKT in the F.Y.B.Com exam from a recognized University.
Third Year B.Com (T. Y. B. Com)	Those students are eligible to apply who have Passed F.Y.B.Com & S.Y.B.Com exam or ATKT in either the First Year or Second year from a recognized University.
F.Y.B.Sc.	Passed 10+2 with Mathematics & Statistics with minimum 45% marks (Minimum 40% for reserved category) in aggregate.
S.Y.B.Sc.	Passed F.Y.B. Sc in IT or Comp sci or ATKT. Students with a 3-year diploma from any recognized state or central University are also eligible to apply.
T.Y.B.Sc.	Passed in all subjects of F. Y. & S.Y. B. Sc. IT/Comp sci or equivalent examination recognized by any other University.
S.Y. B.Sc.	Passed in first year B.Sc in Nautical Technology or with ATKT.
T.Y.B.Sc.	Students should have passed the First year & second year in B.Sc Nautical Technology. Those students who have passed the Diploma in Nautical Technology from BITS Pilani only are eligible to apply.

Mumbai University IDOL MA, M.Com, M.Sc & PG Diploma Admission

Mumbai University's Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) offers various postgraduate programs with durations spanning two years, except for MCA and PG Diploma courses, which are three years and one year respectively.

The selection process for all courses is primarily based on the merit achieved in the qualifying examination, except MCA, which necessitates a valid score in an entrance examination.

Candidates interested in pursuing postgraduate studies at IDOL must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline as the minimum eligibility requirement.

Mumbai University IDOL MA, M.Com, M.Sc & PG Diploma Eligibility

M.A. Part I	A bachelor’s Degree in a relevant stream from a recognized university is required.
M.A. Part II	Those students are eligible to apply who have passed M.A Part I
M.A. Part-I(Education)	Students must have passed a B.Ed. or B.A. degree with Education as one of the elective papers from a recognized university.
M.A. Part-II (Education)	Passed in M.A. (Edu.) Part I
M.Com Part I	Candidates with a B.Com / BMS/BBI/BAF degree are eligible to apply. BMM is applicable for Management specialization only.
M.Com Part II	Passed M.Com part I
M.Sc. IT/Computer Science Part I	Candidates with B. Sc. with IT/ Comp. Sc./ Math/ Physics/ Statistics/ Electronics or BCS or B.E. with a minimum of 45% marks for open and 40% for reserved categories are eligible to apply.
M.Sc. IT/Computer Science Part II	Passed in M.Sc. IT/Computer Sci Part I
MCA	Graduate in any stream with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) and Mathematics at 10+2 or higher level.
PGDFM	Graduation in any stream
PGDORM	Graduation in any stream with at least 2 years of work experience.

Mumbai University IDOL Application Process

Prospective candidates interested in enrolling in the distance education programs offered by Mumbai University's Institute of Distance and Open Learning (IDOL) can complete their applications online by adhering to the following steps:

1. Access the official website of Mumbai University's IDOL.

2. Navigate to the Menu section and click on the Registration Form link to initiate the process.

3. Upon registration, you will receive a unique User ID and Password via email, using the email address provided during registration.

4. Provide all necessary details and upload your photograph and signature as required.

5. Log in using your credentials and proceed to apply online for your desired course.

6. Complete the application form by furnishing relevant information such as educational qualifications, preferred subjects, document submissions, and payment details (either through bank challan or online payment).

7. Review the completed application thoroughly, save it, and then submit it online.

Mumbai University IDOL Admission Key Points

To facilitate the admission process, students are advised to scan their passport-sized photograph, signature, mark sheet of the qualifying examination (along with convocation certificates if applicable), and any other required documents.

For students transferring from other colleges affiliated with the University of Mumbai to IDOL, it is mandatory to scan and upload the original No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the current academic year from their respective colleges. Additionally, a Xerox copy of the NOC must be submitted.

Students who have completed their Bachelor’s degree in 3rd or 4th year from a university other than Mumbai University and have subsequently pursued another degree course such as B.Ed, L.L.B., MMS, etc., from a college affiliated with Mumbai University, and aspire to pursue M.A./M.COM/M.Sc./MCA from Mumbai University, are required to obtain an Eligibility Certificate from Mumbai University, IDOL. Such students should provide an Eligibility Confirmation letter from the earlier college/institute affiliated with Mumbai University, where they completed their B.Ed, LLB, MMS, etc.
