UOM, Mysore Placement Cell

The UOM, Mysore student placements are overseen by the university's Center for Proficiency Development and Placement Services (CPDPS). The Center for Proficiency Development and Placement Services helps students prepare for the right field while also assisting them in discovering their areas of interest. As part of Mysore University placement initiatives, the CPDPS organizes industrial visits, training programs, specialized lectures on skill development, and other events. A major focus of University of Mysore Placements 2024 is assisting students in honing their employability abilities. Furthermore, students who choose to work for themselves and have an interest in entrepreneurship are supported by CPDPS. Of the 31 students who applied for Mysore University's UG (5-year) placements, 26 were placed. Furthermore, the average compensation package for placements into the University of Mysore's 5-year UG program and 1-year PG program was Rs 3.62 LPA and Rs 1.22 LPA, respectively, in 2021.

The University of Mysore Placement Cell helps its students and those of its affiliated colleges find employment through its "Centre for Proficiency Development and Placement Services" (CPDPS). The university assists students in obtaining training, internships, and jobs.
