Admission Process

UPTTI offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in textile engineering. The admission process for these courses is through a common entrance exam, which is conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. The entrance exam is usually held in the month of April or May every year. Candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible for admission to UPTTI based on their rank in the merit list.

The institute also offers a management quota for students who wish to secure admission without taking the entrance exam. However, the number of seats under the management quota is limited, and admission is based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and an interview conducted by the institute.

Placements

UPTTI has a dedicated placement cell that provides training and placement assistance to the students. The placement cell maintains a strong industry network and collaborates with leading textile industries to provide placement opportunities to students.
