The college was taken over by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 1977. Later it got a temporary association with Andhra University, Visakhapatnam regularly. Later this College was taken into transient affiliation with the Adi Kavi Nannaya University; Rajahmundry. The college when started in 1974 had the simplest 2 corporations with only 50 students. In current years the university has added restructured publications with new departments which include computer systems as consistent with the desires of converting times.  At present, the university has four corporations. i.e B.Sc.(MPC), BSc.,(MPCs), B.A(HEP) &B.Com(General)
