Sree Vaageswari educational society was set up in the year 2003 in Karimnagar district of Telangana by Sri. G. Samba Reddy, with the noble intention of providing knowledge-based courses in Pharmacy, Engineering, and Business administration for rural areas. Vaageswari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was started in the year 2007 by Dr. G. Sreenivas Reddy, General Secretary of Sree Vaageswari Educational Society with the blessings of Goddess of Knowledge. Vaageswari Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is affiliated with JNTUH of Telangana and was approved by AICTE & PCI The college is located at Thimmapur which is 6 km away from Karimnagar town & 150 km away from Hyderabad and 70 km from Warangal. Our college has its own spectacular buildings with spacious, well-equipped, sophisticated laboratories, classrooms, digitalized library, and an indoor auditorium as per the norms and standards of AICTE & PCI. The campus is spread over 40 acres of land, economically utilized for the college, hostels, play fields, and medicinal gardens. It has been at the forefront for the past 14 years in providing quality pharmaceutical education in the district of Karimnagar. VIPS offers a B.Pharm program at UG level & M. Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following – Mathematics / Biology. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Candidates who have passed the D. Pharm course approved by the Pharmacy Council of India shall also be eligible for this course and can be admitted directly to II Year.
