Vanita Vishram Women's University (VVWU) is the First-ever Women's University of Gujarat proposed under Public-Private-Partnership with the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat Private Universities Act, 2009. VVWU is determined to provide excellent education and employment opportunities for its female students by re-designing its curriculum and teaching methods. The emphasis is on focusing on hands-on learning and practical experience that is supported by links between academia and industry and functional MoUs, as well as skill development, training for internships, etc. It is aimed at offering opportunities for girls to develop their self-reliance and holistic growth.

To accomplish its mission it is the Training & Placement Cell works to recognize the essential competencies of students. It is a close structure as well as a framework that communicates information to students at the quickest speed.

The Training & Placement Cell firmly believes in the concept of 'Industry-Institute Interaction. To facilitate 'Industry Institute Interaction', it conducts technical seminars and talks to give the engineering students to connect with experts from different industries.

It encourages visits to industries for students at college. A program for internships in the industry is being developed under the T&P cell that allows students to visit the industry regularly.
