The Vastu Kala Academy, College of Architecture has a well-equipped library, digital facilities, an up-to-date Computer Lab, Art & Sculpture Studio, and multi-media facilities to offer. This is to meet the academic needs of students and faculty members.

Residential Accommodation:

The Vastu Kala Academy has a Design Studio, a Carpentry workshop for Wood Work for students to learn the use of hand tools and machinery, a Metallurgy Section, Clay Ceramics for working with clay on potter’s wheel, a Structural Engineering Laboratory for experimental work for students, for research and consultancy projects. The Laboratory is equipped with a compression testing machine and other apparatus required to test cement concrete blocks and bricks, etc. The College also has a survey laboratory audiovisual & resource documentation. It also holds special lectures and has seminars and workshops at regular intervals.

Sports / Food Facilities:

The College has facilities for indoor games and Badminton. The College also has a Canteen on its campus.

Admission:

In some cases, College also offers Merit-based admission for students who have scored excellent in their academics and the entrance test required.

Mission

To put it in a nutshell – the focus will be on the language of architecture, starting with basic communication skills, leading to the development of imagination and creativity. This would be supplemented by the exploration and development of the skill of design and craft building, through exercises as well as on-site interaction with the building industry.
