Keeping in view the Objectives of the Trust, the Late Shri Govind Damodar fondly referred to as Bhausaheb Kelkar established the V.G. Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce at Mithagar Road, Mulund (E) Mumbai-81 on 20th June 1984.
With the aims of the Trust in mind, the late Shri Govind Damodar, affectionately known as Bhausaheb Kelkar, founded the V.G. Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce at Mithagar Road, Mulund (E) Mumbai81 on 20 June The Trust encourages research by encouraging faculty to engage in research activities, including higher degrees also to guide students who want to do masters and doctoral degrees. The Advanced Chemistry Laboratory and Instrumentation Center were added in time to broaden the scope of scientific activities.
First Affiliated College in Maharashtra, NAAC Accredited with 'A' Grade at Undergraduate. Re-accredited with grade "A" in the second and third cycles. Junior College was awarded an 'A' grade by Maharashtra State Education Board Gradation in 2008. National Institutional Ranking Framework.

Residential Accommodation:
Separate boys' and girls' hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with Wi-Fi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 450 students each with good infrastructure. A university van and a car are always available to meet new customer needs. A well-equipped gym is established so that the students of the inn develop the physical ability of boys and girls. Library:
The college library was set up in 1984 with 2650 books. Today it has grown to over 75,000 books with the addition of resources. The growth of the book collections was in step with the growing needs of the institution.
?The area of the library is 8,100 sq. feet. The library is divided into different sections: Home Numbers Section, Study Rooms Section, Periodicals Section, References Section, resources Section, Self-Funded Courses Section, EResources Section of Vaze Vision for the Blind, and Multimedia Section. This maximizes the efficiency of the services provided to library users. The reading rooms can accommodate around 200 users at a time.
Medical Services and Health Center:
Vaze College knows that physical health is more important for students to concentrate well on their studies. The College pays particular attention to the health of students. Sports:
Physical education is strongly aimed at improving the physical and mental health of the individual player. This results in the development of dynamic personalities. Sports activities and achievements have helped many people get better job opportunities.
The clean area with the natural gift of fresh air is an inspiring resource, which motivates the player to perform better. Sports carry the same weight as academics. All sports activities are encouraged by making all facilities available when students participate in intercollegiate, intra-college, and other tournaments.

Students of Vaze College are entitled to receive Freeships and Scholarships under the various schemes of the Government for the weaker sections of society. Besides the Government Schemes, we have a Student Mutual Aid Fund in the College that caters to the needs of economically challenged students by lending them textbooks as well as Tuition Fee concessions.
