VIVEKANANDA COLLEGE OF LAW was started in the year 1983 with the 3 Years LL.B. Course. It also started the 5 Years LL.B Course in the year 1986, when the Bangalore University first introduced it in the year 1986 & it was started in our college in the very same year. It is the duty of every citizen to know the law. Ignorance of the law is no excuse.

Separate hostels are provided for Boys & Girls, Foods are provided in the Mess dining hall attached to the Hostel. Technology is a complementary influencer in education, to develop new ways of learning. Hence, compulsory computer training to students is imparted as a tool & resource to communicate, create, disseminate & manage information. For the benefit of the students, a separate computer laboratory is set up under the supervision of a qualified trainer. Internet service is provided and students can also access journals in the computer lab.
Moot Court Hall:
The college has a good Moot Court Hall. Moot Courts are held regularly, to hone oratory and other skills required for the profession, under the able guidance of leading practitioners of law. Students are not only encouraged to participate in state and national Moot Court competitions but are also sponsored by the institution for the same. Several students have brought laurels to the institute by winning prizes.
Sports Facilities:
Various facilities for indoor and outdoor games are available on the college campus. Students are given ample opportunity to participate in various inter-college and University Level competitions. Annual interclass sports competitions and athletic meets are conducted and the winners are duly awarded.
