Facilities and Infrastructure

Lecture Hall:

The College has four school rooms that are spacious, ready with contemporary-day coaching aids and supplied with snug and conducive surroundings for learning.

Audio Visual Lab:

The College possesses an excellent wide variety of audio-visible aids. A good collection of videotapes, C.D., and audio cassettes on different subjects are available for the student's learning. In addition, the college students shall also have access to the Computer Lab and the latest software.

Hostel Facilities:

Each student is provided in residing room with a bed, a locker, a table, and a chair. Students admitted to the hostel will be immunized against Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Typhoid on payment. Students are to strictly follow hostel rules. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the hostel. If any such case comes to the notice of the Prescribed Authority, the Authority has full power to suspend the miscreant from the college. Students are advised not to keep heavy cash, gold Jewellery, and costly electronic items in their rooms. Authority will not be responsible for any loss.

Transport:

College transport for institutional needs is provided wherever needed by the College for curricular activities such as attending clinical postings in affiliated hospitals and community centers etc. 

Clinical Area:

Students practice and learn in our 150 bedded own Hospital - Vee Care Hospital which has world-class facilities for primary, secondary, and tertiary care of Patients. Tie-Up arrangements are also made for specialties with renowned institutions in and around Chennai such as the Institute of Mental Health, Chennai Corporation Centers for OBG, Child Health Nursing, and Community Health Nursing etc. 

EMERGENCY/TRAUMA CENTRE:

This department of the hospital provides Emergency services around the clock. It is manned by a team of well-experienced doctors. Having a sound and updated knowledge of medical science, our team provides comprehensive emergency health care with due emphasis on curative and preventive medicine.

Admission

The minimum Age shall be 17 years on or before 31st Dec. of the academic Year. Minimum Educational qualification shall be passing of H.Sc Examination or Senior School Certificate Examination (10 + 2) or Pre-Degree Examination (10 +2) or an equivalent with 12 years of schooling from the recognized Board or University with science( Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany & Zoology) and English with Minimum of 45%(PCBE).For SC/ST candidates – the minimum percentage of marks is 40%.
