UG Library

1. Vel Tech HighTech Engineering College Chennai undergraduate library is fully computerized and contains 51251 volumes, and 12812 Titles are accessible. Besides these books and magazines, we have newspapers and Journals bought through subscriptions. The library has joined the Del Net consortium, and IEEE for e-journal access at discounted rates fixed by MHRD, IEEE eBooks, and Free NDLI Accessibility. This enables us to access the Books and journals online.
2. The College library provides a Reference service, Bibliographic service, Interlibrary loan service, Reprographic service, CD-ROM search, and Internet browsing facility.
3. The library has access to other institutions and provides membership to other libraries like the Anna University Library card, NPTEL, and British Council Library card. All the books are bar-coded in the library & barcode laser scanners are used in the circulation counter for book transactions and to keep track of the books.

PG Library

1. Vel Tech HighTech Engineering College Chennai Postgraduate library is fully computerized and houses more than 8594 volumes 2149 Titles are available. Besides these newspapers, journals, and magazines are bought through subscriptions.
2. The library has joined the INDEST consortium for e-journal access at discounted rates fixed by MHRD. This enables us to access the journals online. The college provides services like Reference service, Bibliographic service, Interlibrary loan service, Reprographic service, CD-ROM search, and Internet browsing facility. Medical Services and Health Center

Vel Tech HighTech Engineering College Chennai Student Health Center is located on campus, close to all students. A full-time medical superintendent and part-time qualified general medicine specialists participate. If a student is ill he/ she will immediately be taken to a hospital nearby in an ambulance another college will provide this special facility. We have enough beds to take care of sick students with attached toilets inside the medical room. A full-time qualified nurse will be on hand to care for the students. All kinds of generic medicines will be available for students in need, as they may need them at any time. Consultation and medication are free.

Hostel

The boy's hostel at the campus provides a comfortable stay to the students. The rooms of the boys' hostel are spacious and ventilated. The college has a separate hostel for girls students. The girl's hostel of the institute has all the basic facilities required for the convenience of the students.
