Vemana Institute of Technology, Bangalore, a premier institute, was established under the tutelage of KRJS in 1999 in the midst of Bengaluru city, which covers an covering 5 acres. Vemana IT has started with 3 Undergraduate (UG) courses that had 180 students and has gradually grown to five UG classes that have 600 intake, as well as five VTU accredited Research centers. The name of the institute comes from "Dharshanika Mahayogi Vemana" a saint of the highest order and human rights activist who reached the people of all ages through his straightforward and clear Vemana Padyas' that are used as a treatment for all ailments. He is our spiritual leader. Vemana IT is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka and is endorsed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and is affiliated with VTU, Belagavi, Karnataka.

The library covers six16 sq.m. with a capacity of 150. The library follows an open Access , complemented by state-of-the-art modern facilities that are spread across the lower floor. These include Stack Area, Circulation Counter, Digital Library, Reference section OPAC Search, Journals/Magazines, and Newspaper Sections.

The Library is home to a mix of printed and electronic resources, which include databases, books and CDs/DVDs and e-books, as well as e-journals, reports, old year questions papers, with solutions periodic bound volumes projects, reports, etc. The library currently holds 27213 volumes, including 60 newspapers, print journals and magazines. Hostel:

Hema Reddy Mallamma Girls and Mahayogi Vemana Boys Hostel are being built to create a secure and welcoming environment for students. Hostel facilities are separated for boys and girls on campus as well as off campus. The living areas are designed to foster harmony among the inmates.

The Hostel is a place to stay to the students. As opposed to other establishments, our hostel rooms are set up in a way that allows three and four sharing rooms in order to facilitate groups and individual studies that let students relax and have a social time both inside and outside. Each room is furnished with an beds and studying tables and chairs and cups-boards. They also have an adjoining washroom. Ragging of any kind is strictly forbidden and can result in serious sanctions.
