Vet First Grade College is one of the units of the Vasavi Educational Trust which was established in 1996 and has been providing outstanding educational service to society for 27 years. The institute started with Bangalore University's B.Com program and after the fork will be run as Bangalore City University. Aims to promote and uphold high academic standards while maintaining a strong system of values and ethics, and believes in a rich indigenous culture with a strong emphasis on practice-based learning. 

The VET FIRST GRADE COLLEGE has branched out in various directions and has grown tremendously in size, number, and scope. The college is NAAC accredited and UGC recognized with a 2012 grade 2(f) and 2016 grade 12(B). The college has 764 students and 26 dedicated, competent, and qualified teaching staff, and a large number of guest lecturers with expertise in their fields in the academic year 2022-23. The meeting room with a landing and podium features green chalkboards and a combination of whiteboards for the use of chalk and markers. Dry-erase boards are versatile. All conference rooms are equipped with fans and tube lighting with generators to ensure continuity of service. 

Seminar rooms: 

Seminar rooms are used to organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programs. The room can be set up for a group of 10 to 150 people in the theater-style seminar room or common room, slide projector and 16mm screen, basic AV equipment, podium and whiteboard, and markers. 

Laboratories: 

VET FGC has state-of-the-art laboratories for all areas of computer science, science, and business. Featuring state-of-the-art equipment to stimulate student interest and provide opportunities for real-time experimentation and learning under the guidance of knowledgeable and experienced laboratory assistants. 

Computer room: 

The college has a well-equipped computer laboratory that provides a learning environment and usage policy services for a specific community, such as Internet access, hardware or software-optimized activities or processes, computer-aided design, design, and 3D programming activities involving a wide variety of activities. The computer consists of 54 desktop computers with 150 Mbit/s WLAN access, projectors, and a printer, which expands the laboratory facilities. It is well-ventilated and maintained. 

Canteen: 

"Reflect". The university offers a canteen for students. The canteen offers students homemade, hygienic, and hearty meals. Ensures the necessary cleanliness and hygiene when preparing and serving student meals. Canteen opening hours: - 7:00 - 18:00. It offers snacks, drinks, and lunch at discounted prices.

Hostel: 

In order to facilitate questions from outside, a boarding school for boys was set up in the family environment. The hostel has every comfort. The files can be picked up after registering for the course in the secretariat. Management decides on the allocation. Residents must strictly abide by the rules of the dormitory. 

Placement Cell: 

The college believes the future belongs to those who believe in themselves and their dreams. This cell takes the lead in placing students in the correct positions based on their interests and caliber. To this end, the IQAC Annotation Internship Unit organizes various seminars and workshops around CV writing, interview management, etc. at different levels, creating a productive culture of skilled human resources.
