Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects Or taken together.
Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates Or belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Obtained score in MHT-CET / JEE conducted by the Competent Authority or JEE.
Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disabilities belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject.
Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first-year Engineering Program along with second-year subjects.
The Candidate should be an Indian National.
Passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government institutions or equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).
Passed Bachelor's Degree in the relevant course of Engineering and Technology as specified in the eligibility criteria for admission to a Post Graduate Degree course of the concerned University for which admission is being sought
Obtained score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.
For sponsored candidates, a minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
Passed SSC or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with at least 35% aggregate marks.
Candidates who have passed Maths/ Mathematics (code 71 for Maharashtra State Board) and Science & Technology (code 72 for Maharashtra State Board) are only eligible for admission.
For Maharashtra State Candidates should Pass HSC Science or HSC Science with Technical or HSC Science with Vocational Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its Equivalent examination or SSC with 2 Years ITI with appropriate specialization from a recognized Institution in Maharashtra State or its Equivalent.
Minority Candidate should Passed HSC Science or HSC Science with Technical or HSC Science with Vocational Examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its Equivalent examination or SSC with 2 Years ITI with appropriate specialization from a recognized Institution in Maharashtra State or its Equivalent.
Minority Candidates must be Maharashtra-domiciled and belong to a particular linguistic or religious minority community (Muslim/ Buddhist/ Christian/ Shikh/ Parsi/ Jain) from within the state and as notified by the Government.
