Vidya Vikas College of Education was established in the year 2005 to cater to the needs of Rural area Graduates. Right from its inception in 2005-2006, our College Progresses systematically during these 8 years keeping in mind the welfare of Society by producing skillful, Talented, and Outstanding Teachers, Our Management is very keen on maintaining the Quality of Education and the interest of the Students in all ways.

The Separate Boys' & Girls hostel with all necessary infrastructure & facilities is situated within the campus. The VVCE campus has a well-equipped Medical center to provide first aid and prompt medical care around the clock. Doctors are available to meet any emergency in the institute or hostel. First Aid facility is available in workshops, labs, and buses as well. Salient features in this regard are

A variety of hygienic food & snack items, which include Cakes, Fresh Juices, Chinese Food, Meals, a Variety of Rice, Ice cream, etc, are served at a nominal rate. The students and staff mainly use it. Separate standard rooms for boys and girls and staff are available.

Admission at Vidyaa Vikas College of Education Namakkal

•The candidate who has undergone a 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study and passed the X and XII examinations conducted by the respective State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education / Examination and UG Degree examination of the UGC approved Universities in any one of the school subjects offered by the Directorate of School Education at the Secondary /Higher Secondary Education level.

•Candidates who have passed the UG or PG degree in the Open University System without qualifying in 11 years of SSLC examination and 1 year of Pre-University Course (PUC) examination or 10+2 pattern of school education examination shall not be considered for admission.

•A candidate shall be eligible for admission to the course leading to the Degree of Master of Education provided he/she has passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination in Education of this University or some other University recognized by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of 50% marks in theory and practical’s separately.

•The basis of the selection of candidates for admission shall be based on the existing regulations of the University/Government of Tamil Nadu. Reservation of seats and other concessions for the SC., ST., MBC / DNC, BC, and different special categories of candidates notified by the Government of Tamil Nadu shall be provided by the statutory provisions of the Government of Tamil Nadu in force from time to time.
