Vidyavardhaka Sangha (VVS) is known for providing quality education in Mysuru. VVS was started in 1949 by great leaders like Late Sahukar Channaiah and Late K. Puttaswamy (Former Minister of Karnataka). They wanted to give good education to everyone. VVS now has ten schools and colleges, from nursery to engineering. Today, VVS is led by Sri Gundappa Gowda as President, Sri Shivalingappa B as Vice President, Sri P. Vishwanath as Secretary, and Sri. Shrishaila Ramannavar as Treasurer.
