Library:

The Library of the Vignan Institute of Technology & Management (VITAM) Berhampur, was established in 2008 and with the starting of academic departments in the Institute. Apart from the Central(Main) Library, it has departmental libraries also.

The primary mission of the library is to support the educational programs of the institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information, consistent with the present and anticipated educational functions of the institute. In accordance with the objectives of the institute, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the faculty and the student community of the institute. The collection of the library includes books, journals, reports, and magazines.

The library offers services such as Reference Services, Referral Services, User Guidance Services, Cataloging and Classification Services, Circulation Services, Weekly display of recent additions of periodicals and books, Bibliographic Services, Photocopy Services, and many others.

Hostel:

VITAM is a residential cum day scholar institute and provides accommodation to students wishing to reside in the hostels. VITAM Residential facility comprises of well furnished Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel.

Each hostel of the institute is an independent unit with respect to its internal administration under the overall supervision of the Council of Wardens and the Hostel & Institute Management. The hostel is administered by a Warden appointed by the Director/Dean and he/she is assisted by an Asst. Warden (if require) in all matters relating to the hostel.

Each hostel also has a Council which is an advisory body comprising elected student secretaries as its members. The Hostel Council plans the students' activities for the year, prepares the budget for indoor sports, recreational, and other social activities of the students through the respective student secretaries, and is responsible for maintaining overall discipline.

Games are distinct from work, which is usually carried out for remuneration, and art, which is more concerned with the expression of ideas.

With support from all stakeholders VITAM and its green campus provides facility for conducting a number of games and sports. VITAM is having a huge football-cum-cricket ground with an athletic track to conduct outdoor sports.

VITAM Canteen: Campus Canteen is located on the ground floor of the Open Auditorium and Central Library. The canteen provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner to all the staff members and student community, plus provides catering services in lots of events hosted by different departments, placement cells, staff clubs, and management of VITAM.
