Vijay Rural Engineering College (VREC) was established in 1997 with four departments in Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, and Mechanical Engineering with a capacity of 40 people per department.  The initial enrollment of 160 has been improving year over year, and currently, there are about 948 (including graduates, MCA, MBA, and M.Tech). It is operated by the Society for Ideal Education. The motto and main goal of the institute is the development of people for a better future. The institute's vision is to equip young minds with competitive technology to meet the challenges of external forces, especially in the struggle for liberalization, privatization, and globalization, and the institute's mission is to train high-quality engineers for progress and development. from the nation.
