Scholarship

Our institution is not only well known for its academic aspects but we are also concerned about the economic support of our students. Candidates admitted under B.Ed. & M.Ed. course belonging to SC/ST category, whose annual income is below Rs.2, 50,000/- are eligible to get their scholarships from Taluk Social Welfare Office. Students who belong to Backward Categories like Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B whose annual income is below Rs.1,00,000/- are eligible to get scholarships from the Backward Community office. Our Management Committee also sponsors merit scholarships to the economically backward community whose Annual income is below Rs.2,00,000/- along with that even our Managing Committee is also giving endowment prizes for meritorious students who have scored the highest marks in each course at the end of their B.Ed Degree.

Our college has a respectable collaboration with some NGOs like Rotary Club, Vidyavisthara Trust, Thirupuram Foundation, etc, these NGOs are ready to sponsor scholarships for meritorious students who are belonging to economically and socially weaker sections. For 5 years, most of our students are beneficiaries of this scholarship and we hope to continue in future

Placement

Vijaya Teachers College has a placement cell that provides/offers Placement Services to schools and colleges for the candidates who pass out of the B.Ed. and M.Ed/M.Sc/MA Programs at the end of every academic year.
