The inspiration behind the Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions (VGI) has been the renowned engineer Sir M. Visvesvaraya. The VGI was established in the year 2000 with a vision to nurture globally competent professionals in Technical and Management education. In order to diversify the expertise of students' multidisciplinary domains, We expanded our wings into the fields of Pharmacy, Agriculture, Education, Law, Mass Communication & Journalism, and Fashion Design.

Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions offers UG and PG programs in technology, pharmacy, and management, affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Diploma courses are governed by the Board of Technical Education, UP, while the B.Ed course is under Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The institution is approved by AICTE, BCI, PCI, and NCTE.

The APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship provides 100% tuition fee coverage for those with 90% and above in the qualifying exam, while the Atal Scholarship offers 15% to 59% scholarship based on test scores and qualifying exam performance. The K.R. Narayana Scholarships offer similar percentages for various categories, including minorities, sports quota, armed personnel, divyangjan, girls, child of single mothers, and farmers. Additionally, the Guru Vashistha Gurukul scholarship provides 12.5% scholarship exclusively for hostellers. These scholarships are valid for the full course duration, subject to meeting the scholarship norms.
Vishveshwarya Group of Institutions (VGI) Greater Noida placements for students who meet specific criteria, including maintaining 85% attendance, obtaining a minimum of 75% marks in assessments, being open to various job sectors and locations, adhering to discipline and placement rules, and committing to work in the placed company for at least one year. Students with 80% or above marks are guaranteed placements by the Corporate Resource Department (CRD) and DIOS. Those with strong academic performance (scoring 75%+ in internal assessments) have better placement prospects, while students scoring between 60%-75% are generally assured of job opportunities.
