Dr S.K.S Rathore an outstanding academician established GSKS in memory of his great father Shri G.S Rathore to serve society in education and social welfare. The Samiti had started the various institute under the aegis of the VISM Group of studies to prepare the potential young generation of India to face the upcoming competitive world and to contribute to the intellectual pool of India and the world.

The following institutes are running under the aegis of the VISM Group of Studies: Jai Institute of Nursing and Research, Vijayaraje Institute of Science and Management, Jai Institute of Professional Studies, Vijayaraje College of Education, and Jai Institute of Paramedical Science. Many degree and diploma courses were set up to impart professional education in different disciplines to students who have an intermediate degree from a school or junior college and have the ambition to seek knowledge and a better career in future. BOYS & GIRLS NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

CULTURAL CLUB

The cultural club at VISM was formed to instil values among the students and to provide an opportunity to showcase their cultural talent. The college organizes various cultural events throughout the year to keep the cultural spirit alive. The club organizes various cultural activities as per the academic calendar to indoctrinate a sense of belongingness, teamwork, coordination & amiability.

TRANSPORTATION

The College has a fleet of buses to provide transportation facilities to students and staff. Bus routes are well planned to cover all the areas of the city and some areas of the outskirts. Each bus is equipped with a first aid box and fire extinguisher.

MEDICAL FACILITIES

Medical aid is available to the students with the help of full-time Nurses who stay on campus. On the call, the doctor is available 24*7 for the hostellers inside the campus. Stretchers, wheelchairs and other equipment are on constant standby for any eventuality. An ambulance facility is also available on the Campus in case of any emergency.

SPORTS CLUB

Our group knows that conferences are educational outlets that not only provide an arena for undergraduates and post-graduates to explore new implications and information related to their profession or stream but also make them understand that academia is an inherently collaborative profession. Thus, our group has planned that each of its colleges will conduct at least one national seminar in a year. Keeping that in mind, the Life-science Dept. of the VISM college conducted a National Conference on the ‘Recent Trends in Biotechnology’ on the 30th & 31st of Jan., 2016, which was attended by around 20-25 keynote speakers, many research scholars and students who presented their papers via models, ppts., and posters. And what made the occasion even more special were the guests who were either scientists or Professors of the academia.
