Vishnu Institute of Technology was founded in 2008 by Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES), a leading educational society trust to promote quality education, under the aegis of eminent philanthropist Padma Bhushan Dr B.V.Raju (Late).  The institute is approved by AICTE and is permanently affiliated with JNTUK, Kakinada.

Residential Accommodation

With a key focus on developing a self-sustained residential campus, the Hostel facility is provided with separate accommodation for Male and Female students, with fully furnished AC and Non AC (2 bed & 3 bed) rooms have an attached bath, balcony and a common Dining Hall as well as Audio-Visual Lounge. 

The object of the Hostel is to provide suitable and comfortable accommodation for deserving students from Andhra Pradesh and outside the State. The Hostel has several blocks to accommodate exclusively for girl students. An ideal hostel facility with a homely atmosphere is provided within the campus. Many recreation facilities are also provided.

The Library

The Library of Vishnu Institute of Technology was built to keep up with International Standards, and is located in a separate block - a new multi-storied building with a carpet area of 1878 sq. meters.  with sufficient area for stacks and reading space. It is fully computerized and furnished, containing a large number of volumes, titles, journals, periodicals and newspapers. With the ambience provided by the facilities and atmosphere, it can be truly called a 'Knowledge Centre' and also a 'Learning Centre' and all the students and staff find it conducive for constructive study. '

The digital library is equipped with 160 computers with a high-speed internet facility and a bandwidth of 60 Mbps. A digital library with an equally good number of E-Resources like DELNET, N-LIST, National Digital Library of India etc. A Wi-Fi facility has been provided for laptop users. The Library functions such as Acquisition, Circulation Control, Cataloguing and Serials Control have been automated using integrated software.

Medical Services and Health Center

Vishnu Institute of Technology, West Godavari knows that physical health is more important for students to concentrate well on their studies. The College pays particular attention to the health of students. Our college has a health centre with all the facilities on the campus and also an experienced doctor who takes care of this health centre. The medical service vehicle is always ready on site 24 hours a day.

Canteen

It provides good quality fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic, healthy way which suits the pockets of the student. It is speckless and maintained very well.

The Department of Sport and Recreation has developed a curriculum which is an integral and compulsory part of the education process.
