Application for various courses may be obtained from the website www.vivekanandha.ac.in Filled applications along with payment evidence should be sent by registered post to the admission office before the stipulated date to the following address

Prospectus and application for various courses may be obtained from the admission office of Vivekananda Educational Institutions

Applications can also be directly submitted along with the admission booking amount to the admission office

The available following photocopies of the testimonials should be enclosed along with the filled-in application

1. +2 Mark sheet or qualifying examination or equivalent
2. 10th Mark Sheet
3. Transfer & conduct certificate from the institution last studied
4. Community certificate (if applicable)
5. Migration certificate for other than Tamilnadu State Board candidates
6. Ten Passports size and two stamp-size photographs of the applicant
7. Each 2 Passport size & Stamp size photographs of visitors (3 Members)
8. Aadhaar Card Copy

PG Courses

1. UG Mark Sheet
2. UG Provisional
3. UG Degree Certificate
4. Mark sheet of +2 or qualifying examination or equivalent

Rules and Regulations

• All the above original certificates should be submitted at the time of admission confirmation.

• All admissions confirmations will be done according to the Government of Tamil Nadu guidelines.

• Admissions are made to this college on the clear understanding that those admitted will fully accept and abide by the rules and regulations of the management in force and those which may be enforced or modified as and when required from time to time.

Eligibility Requirements for UG Courses

Eligibility for admission to first-year B.E. / B.Tech. programs

(As per norms of Govt. of Tamilnadu)

A pass in XII std., of Tamilnadu HSC (Academic) with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.

(or)

A pass in XII std., of Tamilnadu HSC (Vocational Stream) with Engineering / Technology Vocational Subjects and any one or two of the related subjects like Maths, Physics or Chemistry.

A pass in an equivalent examination accepted by Universities in Tamilnadu for admission to B.E. / B.Tech., / B.Arch. degree courses.

A rank statement from an approved agency like the Consortium of Self-Financing Engineering and Arts Colleges is mandatory for admission under the Minority / Management quota. (Refer to separate advertisements from the authorities of State Government for Admissions under Government Quota).

MBC / DNC - Average of Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry - 40% Average of Related Subjects and Vocational Subjects - 40%

Eligibility for PG Courses

Eligibility Requirements for M.E. / M.Tech.

01. A pass in a recognized Bachelor's degree or equivalent in the relevant field and obtained at least 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

a). B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Arch. degree program.

b). B.Pharm. / B.Sc (Agri. / Forestry / Horticulture / Fishery) degree program.

(or)

c). Master's Degree in the relevant branch of Science / Arts, which is prescribed.

d). M.Sc. (5 Years) Integrated Degree Programme.

(or)

e). B.Sc. 3 Years (Computer Science / Information Technology) and M.Sc. 2 Years (Computer Science / Information Technology).

f). MCA (3 Years) after 10+2 years H.Sc. + 3 Years bachelor's degree.

(or)

g). MCA# Lateral Entry (2 Years) after 10+2 years H.Sc. + 3 Years bachelor's degree in BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology / Computer Science).

02. Candidates with section 'A' & 'B' certificates and another similar certificate of professional bodies or societies (e.g. A.M.I.E.) recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India are considered to be equivalent to B.E. / B.Tech. Degree holders only with 2 Years of regular full-time Teaching experience / Industrial experience* in the relevant field after successful completion of the course including project work.

* An experience certificate is to be produced by the candidates with AMIE qualifications.

a). 10 + 2 years H.Sc. + AMIE (with 2 years experience).

(or)

b). 10 + 3 Years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE (with 2 years experience).

Note :

Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible except, for B.E. / B.Tech. and MCA# degree courses

Candidates with B.E. / B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance mode/Week end courses are not eligible

Candidates with MCA / M.Sc. degrees obtained through weekend courses are not eligible

Candidates with a degree obtained without studying 10th, 12th Std. or 3 years diploma and 3/4 years degree program are not eligible

Candidates appearing for the final semester/year examination of the said qualifying degree course except AMIE during April / May may also apply for TANCET.
