Admission Criteria and Procedure:
All admissions are provisional and subject to the rules and regulations set forth by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. If it is discovered that an admission has been made in violation of these regulations, it will be cancelled at any time. In such instances, the candidate will have no claim to the admission.
Students are admitted to the four-year undergraduate programs through two categories. Category-A seats, which make up 70% of the total seats, are filled through the Convener, EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh. Category-B seats, accounting for 30% of the total available seats, are filled by the management through newspaper advertisements.
Eligibility Criteria for Admission into B.Tech Program:
Category-A (Convener) Seats: (70% of Intake in Each Branch)
1. The candidate must be an Indian National.
2. The candidate should have attained 16 years of age by December 31st of the academic year for which admissions are being conducted.
3. For admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering, the candidate must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh, with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, or an equivalent examination recognized by the authorities.
4. Candidates seeking admission must qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Admission will be granted strictly based on merit secured at the Entrance Examination, adhering to the rules regarding reservation of seats for various categories of candidates.
5. The candidate must fulfill the Local/Non-Local status requirement as stipulated in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974, as subsequently amended.
