VPS College of Engineering & Technology is a private unaided institution established in 2013. The institute offers three undergraduate engineering programs of four-year duration namely Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Six engineering departments are offering post-graduate programs at the University of Pune. It has a total undergraduate of 500. All the courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated with the University of Pune.

Vidya Prasarini Sabha, Pune was established in the year 1923 with the objective in mind to provide education to children from diverse backgrounds. In the past 91 years, this bud has grown into a big tree. Vidya Prasarini Sabha now has more than 22 branch institutes.

Vidya Prasarini Sabha is now providing education in every domain, like D. Ed., B. Ed. English Medium Schools, Higher, and Secondary Higher schools, Junior Colleges, BCA, BCS College. Vidya Prasarini Sabha was established in 1923. The Vidya Prasarini Sabha's College of Engineering and Technology, Lonavala was established in 2013 and conducts the following courses leading to Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. The college's central library is the main center for students to carry out their activities. It helps students to get knowledge from different sources such as Text and Reference Books, Magazines, E-journals, and modern e-learning resources.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The alumnus forms the major strength of the institution. The Alumni Association of Dinsha Patel College Of Nursing was formed in the year 2015 under the title “DPCN Alumni Association” which is a “Functional Association”.

The alumni meet is conducted once a year, where the alumni from different branches of Nursing (Under Graduate and Diploma program) students gets together and share their views and give suggestions for the betterment of their junior students. The alumni meet is hosted through the control generously wherein the alumni are commemorated with moments. Such meetings are mutually beneficial for the Institution and the alumni on different bases. This provides an opportunity for the alumni to meet their friends and act as a bridge for sharing their experience, knowledge, and insights and makes us aware of the different areas of opportunities for the Junior Students.

The Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of our college. Training & Placement activities are organized throughout the year with a view to preparing the students to appear in the campus recruitment process with confidence. The first-year engineering students are encouraged to participate in various competitions such as debates, group discussions, PowerPoint presentations, essay writing, etc. in order to enhance their confidence, reading, writing, and communication skills. Students of second-year engineering are trained in basic language skills in the well-developed Language laboratories of the institute. To prepare and train aspiring learners to face campus recruitment, the third-year engineering students are provided with exhaustive training with relevance to communication skills, aptitude tests,s and overall development for personal & professional grooming.
