A temple of learning founded by the great visionary Shri Vanniaperumal Nadar with the sole purpose of empowering rural women through higher education, the Vanniaperumal College for Women is a six-decade saga of human excellence, perseverance, and dedication. From a modest strength in 1962, the institution has grown by leaps and bounds to become one of the most prestigious women's colleges in Tamil Nadu. Enrollments reached 3,973 students, of whom 1,924 were admitted to subsidized programs and 2,049 to self-funded programs.
