The bar-coding system is in use to computerize the bibliographic details of the resources. Currently 55816 library books worth Rs. 1,95,16,478/-are available. The special reference section is available for the books like competitive exams, data books, guides, encyclopedias, and other useful technical books. Audio Visual room is available for presentation.

The Student Store at V.V.P. Engineering College Rajkot provides all the necessary stationary requirements to the students at very reasonable rates. The Zaverchand Meghani Rangbhavan has a massive capacity of 1506 seats and is fully equipped and soundproof with Projector, display screen, Central Air conditioner system, and PA system. The auditorium is used to organize various national-level, state level or college-level technical as well as non-technical events where all the students and staff of the college can come together and get the advantage of the event.

Sport is an integral part of the student’s life in general. Sports relax the mind and body. It gives immense pleasure. Sports is a recreational activity that enhances the working efficiency of the internal and external organs of the human body. It is a tool to enjoy a stress-free life.

V.V.P. Engineering College has a well-established sports culture. The Department of Sports @ V.V.P. is organizing the institute level tournaments twice a year that is once a semester.

The institute has fully furnished grounds for Cricket with a turf wicket, Basketball, Volleyball, Kabaddi, and Kho-Kho along with all indoor game facilities like chess, carom, badminton, and table tennis.

The students are participating in Chess, Badminton, Carom, and Table Tennis in the monsoon semester named “Spirit Indoor” and they are enjoying a sports festival “Spirit Outdoor” in the month of January and February with the games like Cricket, Volleyball, Basketball, and Kho-Kho.

The students are also participating in the GTU zonal and Inter-Zonal games and in the last three years only VVP has won more than 10 titles and more than 50 students have become national players.

The Institute provides a canteen facility located within the Institute Campus. The canteen serves breakfast & snacks to the students as well as faculties that is fresh, healthy and hygienic.

Scholarships

Scholarship based on merit marks obtained in 12th Grade is given to the students. The amount for the scholarship is decided as (Merit Marks * 100).

The scholarship is not given to TFWS, ICCR, and free ship card students.

The scholarship is not given to students having less than 50 merit marks.

Placements

The Placement Cell operates around the year to facilitate contact between companies and graduates. Every year, for placement many reputed industries are contacted and invited to conduct campus recruitments. We have been successful in maintaining our high placement statistics over the last two decades and the fact that our students work with many Multi-National Companies throughout the country itself is a testimony to our quality.
