Established in 1937, Kolkata Women's College is one of the most famous women's colleges at Kolkata University. The College of Women offers both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The UG program offers general and specialized courses. also serves as a distance learning center for three distance learning universities – Vidyasagar University, Netaji Subhas Open University, and Indira Gandhi Open University which offer UG, PG, Certificate, Diploma, and PG Diploma for Arts, Science, and Business subjects.
