Candidates must have qualified in the NEET exam and obtained seat allotment through MCC counseling. Additionally, they should possess a +2/PUC or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 50% marks in PCBE (40% for SC/ST/Category I) along with a valid NEET score. Admissions are granted based on NEET qualifications.

The field of Orthodontics deals with diagnosing, preventing, managing, and correcting malpositioned teeth and jaws, as well as irregular bite patterns. It also focuses on modifying facial growth, known as dentofacial orthopedics.
Treatment procedures may span from several months to a few years and typically involve using dental braces and other devices to gradually align teeth and jaws. Severe cases of misalignment might require jaw surgery as part of the treatment plan. Generally, treatment begins before adulthood when adjustments to pre-adult bones are more feasible.
Candidates should have completed BDS as per DCI regulations and qualified in NEET. Admissions are processed based on NEET qualifications.
Admission to MDS courses is facilitated through the NEET-PG exam conducted by the National Board of Examinations. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, conducts online counseling based on NEET results, and seat allotment is determined by the Merit Rank List.
