Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination or another college or examination board in a state recognized by the Upper Secondary Council as equivalent to one plus two with at least 40% of the total score are eligible for admission.

Process
Recruitment for the program is primarily based on merit. Almost all universities, with the exception of some institutes/universities, conduct admissions on the basis of entrance examinations.
Some institutes/universities organize their own entrance exams as mentioned above for admission to studies, for which students have to apply.
Applicants must pass these entrance exams (which they must be eligible to take) to be admitted to the course.
After the entrance test, suitable candidates are ranked and invited to the recruitment process by the relevant institutes or universities.
