Introduction of Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Polymer Science and Technology

An M.Tech in Polymer Science is a Chemical Engineering postgraduate programme. Polymer science is an interdisciplinary field that combines chemistry, physics, engineering, and process engineering into a single discipline. Individuals must apply arithmetic, science, engineering, and innovative knowledge to plastic and polymer engineering technology problems—the M.Tech. Polymer Technology course provides an in-depth understanding of common goods such as plastics and claim-to-fame polymers, which have several uses in biological research and drug development. Polymer engineers are becoming more popular in India.
While pursuing a subject-based research project, the course assists in the development of generic research knowledge and skills. The course contains industrial projects and Chemists, Materials Scientists, and engineers who understand traditional commodity plastics and specialty polymers, which get increasingly used in biological and pharmaceutical industries and electronics.
The engineers can recognize, deconstruct, and solve problems in plastics and polymer engineering technologies. To be adequately equipped for a future in Plastic Technology, one must understand various materials. Not just plastics, Computer-Aided Engineering, innovative innovation, sophisticated testing procedures, mold and part design in every possible industry, and the Polymer Process.
