What is AEEE?

Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) is an exam based on a computer exam 

The test held for 10+2 passed students for admission in BTech courses. Admission via AEEE 2024 is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad and Nagercoil (new from 2024). Students that ensure ranks in AEEE 2024  have to then appear in the counselling process called the Amrita BTech Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Via CSAP, AEEE-qualified students can then participate in programme selection and allotment pf seats leading to admission to the desired course and campus.

AEEE 2024 : Slot Booking Phase 2

Students who registered for AEEE 2024  have to select the “slot and time slot” of their choice, the availability of subjects, by visiting the University website before the last date. This process is called “SLOT BOOKING.” Test Centre, Number of days and Number of operating slots in a day are finalised based on the number of students for a particular city. The allotment of dates/slots is on a first come first serve basis. If a student does not have their option, they are a date/ slot as per the availability of the same. To Book Exam Date and Slot, registered candidates need to click the AEEE 2024 slot booking link provided on the University webpage as per the schedule.

How to book slots: students have to log in on the official website. After logging in, the students can select the test date and test slots based on availability. To choose the date, click on the available date and click the continue button. In the next screen, students will be prompted to select a test slot based on its availability status. Click the “Confirm Slot” button to confirm the booking. A slot once booked cannot be changed under any circumstances. Requests for change of test centres also will not be entertained. The address of the examination centre for students will be mentioned in the admit card, which can be downloaded after booking the slots.

AEEE 2024 admit card is issued provisionally to the students who want to attend the entrance examination. Admit cards to write the examination are provided only for those eligible students who have submitted their application form in all respects. 

If you want to AEEE 2024 admit card, students have to use their registered Email ID / Application Number and Date of Birth. Students must keep in mind that the admit card is not sent by post. One has to visit the official website, amrita.edu/admissions to access the link to download the admit card. 

On the AEEE admit card, students should check details like the Name and Registration Number of the students, Date of Exam, Address of the Exam Centre allotted etc. After downloading the admit card, students have to make sure that the data is printed as per the application form submitted to them. In case of any discrepancy, students should get it resolved by opening a ticket in the online query management system for a faster resolution. The Admit Card is an important document and must be kept safe till the completion of the admission Procedure

AEEE 2024 : Exam Pattern

Students can check AEEE 2024 exam pattern below:

1. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. 
2. All the questions are of Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
3. Candidates can choose the most appropriate answer for each question in the computer-based Test (CBT) mode.
4. Answers marked can be changed later, before the final submission of all the answers.
5. 3 (Three) marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1(negative one) for each wrong answer.

AEEE 2024 : Syllabus

Amrita University releases the AEEE 2024 syllabus for all subjects of the exam. AEEE exam syllabus includes 10+2 level topics in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Through the syllabus of AEEE, students can get an idea of the topics, subtopics, chapters, and units to be covered while preparing for the AEEE exam. The questions in AEEE 2024 are based on the syllabus in Class 11 and 12. All the questions are of Multiple Choice Types and have four answers of equal weightage.

 Guidelines for AEEE 2024 

Students can check various day of exam guidelines for AEEE 2024 exam below:

1. The examination rooms/halls for CBT are opened one hour before the commencement of the test on the respective dates.
2. The candidates should take their seats in the examination hall 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
3. If the students do not report on time, they are likely to miss some of the general instructions to be announced in the examination hall.
4. A seat indicating the roll number is allocated to each candidate. Candidates should find out and occupy only their allotted seats. Any candidate found to have changed room or seat on their own other than allotted, their candidature shall be cancelled, and no plea will be accepted for it.
5. The student must show, on demand, the AEEE 2024 admit card for admission in the examination room/hall.
6. The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the AEEE 2024 admit card. During the examination time, the invigilator checks the admit card to confirm the identity of each student.

AEEE 2024 : Eligibility Criteria

Students who are planning to apply for AEEE 2024 should check the eligibility criteria below:

Educational Qualification:

1. A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board.
2. Minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
3. Not less than 55% in each of these three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Age:

Students born on or after July 1, 2003

AEEE 2024 Result - Phase 1

AEEE 2024 result is released for all the students that have appeared in Amrita Entrance Examinations. Students can access their results by entering their login details in the Amrita online admission portal. To log in and check AEEE 2024 ranks, students have to use their AEEE 2024 registration number and their Date of Birth. 70% of the total seats will be offered through AEEE 2024 and 30% of the total seats will be offered through JEE Main 2024 All India Rank.

The result of AEEE 2024 is released separately for all phases. Students who will appear for more than one phase must note that their best score out of all the phases is considered for admission.
